Tuesday, February 03, 2009 WORKIN HARD AND LAUGHIN HARDER Current mood: blissful Category: Music SOOOOOO...okay...we think winter sucks, except for Maddy who loves to ski....the rest of us just want warm, but then so does Maddy cause she loves tennis and swimming and all the summery stuff. To put it plainly...rain and cold suck....butt....literally....anyway We are working super hard cause after all we wanna be Famous.... but then what does famous mean anyway..??? So far famous to us means hours upon hours of cold frozen fingers, toes and playing the same song ten times over till we have it down..and LOVING every minute of it... which most the time we do.... except when we stayed up toooo late the night before watching a hilariously pointless movie, eating sour gummy worms, and texting our besties or not so besties. Life is good.....we are such lucky chicks....we have a band and each other... that we have fun with, laugh with (Maddy and her crazed spaz out drum moves to the Queens of the Stone Age-"No One Knows"), make awesome music with (offensively funny blond songs--we DO LOVE U- EMILY- its really about that crazy bass player JK)-AND an AWESOME music teacher who despite our giggliness, crazy comments about awkward silences (that bass player again), and at times our inability to focus (those dreamy lead vocalists)-continues with lots of patience to help us learn, love our music, and take hold of what ever our dreams bring us... Anyway so I guess if winter is all we have to complain about... we got it pretty good... Peace, love and gummy worm hisses....... Starstruck Linda, Emily, Maddy, Lizzy

BUSY BUSY Current mood: accomplished Category: Music The girls had an awesome weekend.... Saturday they did two shows...It was so much fun...Point Defiance Music Festival was great.. Honestly it was their best show to date..Everything just came together. We all met some awesome people and heard some great bands. The Endless Summer Deck Party was super good too..but man it was hot out on that deck..It was super fun, we had some really tasty burgers there.. School started this past week and its good. Linda and Lizzy are at the same school again, which makes them both pumped. Birthdays are coming up- two of the girls will be teens...The girls have another busy week with the Puyallup Fair and then a private party..Then its time to finish all the original songs. TTYL
